You can, but a self-printed COA proves nothing, because anyone can make one, including a forger. A certificate matters when a third party holds the record. Ours can be scanned and checked against a live registry entry by any buyer, forever. Yours can't.
No. No minting, no wallets, no tokens. It's a registry, the way the art world has recorded provenance for a century, made verifiable with a QR code. That's it.
The record, not the artistic merit. We verify the artist's identity once, and every certificate carries their personal attestation that they made the work. We don't certify quality: we certify who claimed what, and when, and keep that record safe.
Stripe, and nobody. Checkout is hosted by Stripe, so your card details go to Stripe and never touch our servers. The money splits at the moment of payment and pays out directly to the seller's bank: Curated OPUS never holds funds. Our systems move exactly one thing, the record, the instant Stripe confirms payment.
The certificate goes with it. Sell through your buy link and the record transfers to the buyer automatically the moment they pay. Sell any other way (your own store, in person, a DM) and you mark it sold from your dashboard: the certificate transfers to the buyer, no fee. Either way the provenance chain stays unbroken, which protects the work's value and yours.
Not as a certificate, those are issued only with the creating artist's own attestation. That rule is what makes every certificate here worth something. But if you own a work, you can file a collector record for £15: it appears clearly marked "artist not yet verified" until the artist claims and certifies it, which also switches their royalties on.
